Learning Support Assistant  & Midday Supervisor

Fixed term until 22nd August 2027 

Term time only plus inset (39 weeks per year)

LSA – 27.5 hours per week 

MDS - 5 hours per week

Grade 5, Pts 7 to 8 (£16,553 to £16,816) LSA

Grade 4, Pts 5 to 6 (£2,888 to £2,910) MDS

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Bradgate Education Partnership at Gaddesby Primary School as a Learning Support Assistant (27.5 hours per week) and Midday Supervisor (5 hours per week). This is a fixed-term role until 22nd August 2027 working Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting our pupils and teachers both in the classroom and during lunchtime. The successful candidate may work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), with small groups, or with whole classes. Knowledge and experience of supporting children with SEND is desirable. This is a highly rewarding role, offering the opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while working as part of a friendly and supportive team.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be NVQ Level 2 qualified at least (or equivalent)

• Have experience in a classroom environment

• Have experience of supporting SEND in an educational setting

• Have the motivation and passion for being part of a successful school team

• Have good literacy and numeracy skills

• Have the ability to contribute to the progression of learning
